The most commonly used profile giving good screening efficiency over the whole range in most applications. It is excellent for the de-watering of slurries and is extensively used in coal washeries.

Designed particularly for fine mesh screens for de-watering of slurries.

Suitable for larger aperture screens used with highly abrasive materials.

Combines most of the de-watering qualities of both flat and conical top profiles and is also widely used as an attractive non-slip finish for drainage grids and walkways.

WELDED WEDGE WIRE SCREENS

We were pioneers in the development of wedge wire screens. In recent years a demand has grown for wedge wire assembled by welding, in contrast to the looped method. We have met this demand with the very latest in TIG welding technology.

Using specially developed machinery and advanced automatic welding our welded type screens offer a wide range of apertures with clear and unobstructed open area.

This latest development uses 6.35mm diameter crossrods or up to 25 x 6mm flat bars welded directly to the profile wires. Cross rod pitch can be varied to suit the application.

Reinforcements can be added as required providing the strongest and most cost effective welded wedge wire screen on the market. Usual materials are stainless steels in AISI grades 430, 304 and 316. Other metals are available – please call.

As well as the usual flat or curved screens, welded wedge wire can be made into tubes and cylinders, with radial or straight slots.

The screen surface can be on the inside or the outside of the cylinder, to give flow in to out, or out to in.

Usually made in stainless steel grade AISI 316L, but other grades are available. Please call us on 00(44) 1942 272895 for more details.
